MG1_9248Trained in mime and clownery (Covent Garden School, London, 1975), then in circus techniques (Paris, 1977), Sandy Sun became a soloist in fix trapeze and winn as a gold medal on that apparatus at Festival Mondial du Cirque de Demain in Paris in 1980.
Prize-winner of the Foundation Marcel Bleustein-Blanchet for the Vocation in 1981, she worked in the biggest Circuses  (Pinder / Jean Richard, Fratellini, Orfei, Roncalli, Archaos) and european Cabarets (Tiger Palatz, Gop, Luna). After her beginnings in classicism, s
he is creator of a very personal style mixing the contemporary choreography and the classic apparatus virtuosity.
Her teacher’s career led her to the Academy Fratellini (Paris), the French Centre National des Arts du Cirque Graduate school, the Montreal National Circus School, as well as to Maguy Marin Company , or Circus Baobab.
She is prize-winner “Circus arts” of the French Société des Auteurs et Compositeurs Dramatiques (SACD) in Paris ( 2005 ).

Graduate with the Diplôme d’Etat de Professeur de cirque, lecturer at university, associated artist in research program « Circus : history, aesthetics, practicies » and today “Circus Arts&Sciences” at Montpellier 3 University in France, she is invited for talks in international conferences and publications in international network.

She today transmits her art in Master’s degree professional classes and participates in scientific conferences, for which she is invited in numerous countries, as well as with publications in edited volumes.
At the same time as her work of circus, she dedicates itself to the writing, the producing of shows, and to the artistic and physical coaching.
